Terms of Service

Effective May 1, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using HollexApp.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Hatton Technologies Limited ("HollexApp", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experiences, and salary advance services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or requesting an advance, you accept these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use the Services you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • be a resident of Ghana with a valid Ghana Card;
  • be in active formal employment with a HollexApp employer partner;
  • have a verifiable monthly salary paid into a Ghanaian bank or mobile money account.

2. Account registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you register, and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity on your account. Notify us immediately at hello@hollexapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. The advance product

An "advance" is a short term cash advance against salary you have already earned in the current pay period. It is not a loan in the traditional sense and is repaid from your next payroll cycle through deduction by your employer. The available amount depends on your earned wages to date, your employer's policy, and your repayment history with HollexApp.

4. Verification by your employer

Before disbursing any advance, we confirm your employment and net salary with the HR contact on file at your employer. By requesting an advance, you authorize us to share the information needed to complete this verification and to coordinate repayment from payroll.

5. Service fees

The service fee for each advance is shown clearly before you submit your request. We do not charge interest, late fees in excess of the limits we disclose, hidden charges, or rollover service fees. The total repayment amount is the figure you confirm at the time of request.

6. Repayment

You authorize your employer to deduct the agreed repayment amount from your next net pay and remit it to HollexApp on the agreed payroll date. If payroll is delayed, repayment shifts to the new payroll date and no additional service fee accrues for that delay. If repayment fails for reasons within your control, you remain liable for the outstanding balance.

7. Responsible use

The Services are designed for short term liquidity, not ongoing borrowing. We limit how often you can take an advance in any given pay cycle to protect your take home pay. You agree not to use the Services to fund illegal activity or to misrepresent your employment or income.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel a request at any time before HR verification is complete and the funds are disbursed. After disbursement, the advance must be repaid on the agreed date.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • provide false, misleading, or stolen information;
  • attempt to access another person's account;
  • probe, scan, or test the security of our systems without permission;
  • use the Services in any way that violates Ghanaian law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, attempted to defraud HollexApp or your employer, or pose a risk to the Services. Where lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

11. Intellectual property

All rights in the Services, including software, design, text, and trademarks, belong to Hatton Technologies Limited or our licensors. You receive a limited, non transferable licence to use the Services for your personal, non commercial use.

12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" basis. We do our best to keep the Services available and accurate but we do not guarantee that they will always be uninterrupted, error free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the total service fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. You and HollexApp agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally. If that fails, the courts of Accra, Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
